1.Description: Honed Tube is a kind of smooth bore steel tube used to manufacture hydraulic cylinder barrels that is the core part of a piece of hydraulic cylinder. Honed tubes are widely used in hydraulic cylinders, cylinders, hydraulic machinery, engineering machinery, petroleum machinery, agricultural machinery, filling machinery, mining machinery and other fields.
Honing is a kind of machining technology. Through honing head, the inner hole of cold drawn pipe is processed by reciprocating high-speed grinding technology, so that the inner hole can meet the requirements of tolerance size and surface roughness that we need.

Difference between honed tube and skived & roller burnished tube: In hydraulic cylinder industry, there are 2 solutions for bore treatment: Honing, and skiving&roller burnishing. Honing or skiving&roller burnishing leads to different internal surface image, but both ensure good roughness.

Hydraulic steel tube is designed to convey liquid fluids to among hydraulics components, fittings, valves, flanges, and other tools. It is made of material E355 (ST 52.4) or E235 (ST 37.4). These two grades have different chemical composition. This helps to control the working pressure.

Hydraulic honed tube is made according to DIN 2391/C (DIN EN 10305-1) or DIN 2445/2 (DIN EN 10305-4) standards and it is available in millimeters, inches outer diameter, and inches nominal bore size.

13. Hydraulic cylinder tube ------ Used in the hydraulic cylinder of the heavy machinery, Cranes, excavator also forklifts. Material is various, mainly STKM-13CT ST52 CK45 and 1020. We can work and get the mechanical property of the clients need and extended the life of the hydraulic cylinder.
14. Honed tube ----- used in Elevator buffer and Hydraulic Cylinder. This kind tube have a better roughness inner the tube, ra0.2-0.4um and can use directly in the hydraulic cylinder tube. Range: ID 50-250mm and Length can work at most 6M.
15. Cold finished tube ---- Widely Used. Processing range 30-300mm, biggest length is 11M.

Our Advantages

1. MOQ: Generally Min Order Quantity can be 2-3 tons/size for tubes with OD below 250mm, and 10 tons/size for tubes with OD above 250mm. Sometimes, it depends on steel grade you need. If you need special grade like E410, E470 or alloy steel tube, MOQ should be 10 tons/size at least.

2. Delivery Time: Generally, our delivery time for honed tubes is around 40-60 days depending on the sizes and quantities. It will take us 15-30 days to get raw material. For example, if you need 3 tons of small size honed tubes 50mm*40mm with roughness of Ra0.25um max, it will take us at least 30 days to hone this size.
3. Warranty & Guarantee: Warranty&guarantee period is 6 months since we deliver the tubes, and we are not responsible for quality problem caused by wrong unloading or storage after shipment. We welcome customer's inspection before shipment.
4. Payment Method: We accept payment method like T/T, L/C, or D/P, but it depends on our investigation about customers. We have a solution to evaluate the credit of customers from all over the world, and time and amount of D/P we can release is determined by the evaluation.
5. Quality Control: 90% of the tubes are made from hot rolled seamless pipes. So, quality of raw material determined quality of finished tubes. We purchase raw material from stable suppliers who are leading steel mills, and we inspect the raw material as per the specifications. During our production procedure, there is inspection and quality control in every stage.
