H-beam Steel



Product Introduction


H-beam steel is an economical and efficient profile with more optimized section area distribution and more reasonable strength-to-weight ratio, so it is named because its section is the same as the English letter "H". Because all parts of H beam are arranged at right angles, H beam has been widely used for its advantages of strong bending resistance, simple construction, cost saving and light structural weight in all directions.

H section steel is a kind of economic section steel with better mechanical properties, which is optimized and developed from I-section steel, especially the section with the same English letter "H". Its characteristics are as follows: Wide flange, high side stiffness.
◆ Strong bending ability, about 5%-10% than I-beam.
The two surfaces of the flange are parallel to each other, which makes the connection, processing and installation easy.
◆ Compared with welding I-beam, low cost, high precision, low residual stress, no need for expensive welding materials and weld detection, saving steel structure production cost about 30%.
◆ Under the same section load. Hot rolled H steel structure is 15%-20% lighter than traditional steel structure.
◆ Compared with concrete structure, the use area of hot-rolled H steel structure can be increased by 6%, and the self-weight of the structure can be reduced by 20% to 30%, thus reducing the internal force of the structure design.
H beam can be processed into T beam, honeycomb beam can be combined to form various section forms, greatly meet the needs of engineering design and production.
